Pros:
•9.91 RAS Score
•Elite vertical and broad jump
•5.04 40 time is amazing

•Really good knee bend
•Displays explosiveness
•Moves extremely well
Cons:
•None
Footwork
Pros:
•First drop step and first step forward are very quick
•Side-to-side shuffle and foot speed is impressive
•Keeps a good base
•The initial drop step is quick and efficient; he is already prepared before or right as the QB receives the snap
•Kick foot contributes very nicely to his ability to absorb defenders
•Mirrors defenders' directions so well and cuts off any lane with his feet
•Recovery with his post foot and drop foot is solid
•Really good balance
•Will take your momentum where you want to go and redirect you away from the pocket
Cons:
•Base can get a little too narrow
•Wastes his first step by lifting it but not actually moving forward (wasted movement)
•Opens his post foot on angle blocks, which opens a path to the pocket
Hand Usage
Pros:
•Decent arm bar
•Replaces hands well after the initial contact
•Pretty solid hand placement and movement after contact
•Redirects and catches spin moves very well
•Good grip strength
•Shows flashes of independent hand movement
Cons:
•Punch timing can be late which leaves him catching rather than delivering a hand punch
•Hands get outside the chest and on the shoulder pads too often
•Wouldn’t say his hands are violent
•Ends up hugging and having no leverage against a bull rush when his hand placement or timing is off
Strength / Anchor
Pros:
•Absorbs power decently well despite his hand timing being bad sometimes
•Anchors down very well
•Easily washes out edge defenders on angle blocks
•Shows good hip torque to throw defenders
•Keeps his posture up
•Very effective on combo blocks
•Very strong at the point of attack
Cons:
•Doesn’t have the strength and size to wash out interior linemen who are bigger
•Pad level can get too high
•Can get outleveraged
•Doesn’t play with leverage and a low pad level consistently
Physicality
Pros:
•Willing to finish his blocks
•Immediately pancakes you if he gets the opportunity
•Can be violent
•Can drive you into the ground
•Willingness to get dirty and try to move the scrum
Cons:
•Could have a little more hustle at times
Processing / Game IQ
Pros:
•Helps his teammates out in the B-gap (interior gap to his left) when he is uncovered and doesn’t have an assignment
•Displays good timing, climbing to his second-level assignment
Cons:
•Way too many penalties at 5, most of them being false starts on the season, ranks 419th in the country
•Takes him too long to see stunts pretty often
•Gets confused by overload blitzes
•Isn’t processing things fast enough, which leads to him catching defenders late
Games Watched:
•Week 1 vs LSU, Week 4 vs SYR, Week 6 vs BC, Week 8 vs DUKE, Week 12 vs SC
Ideal Situation:
•Blake Miller is one of my favorite prospects in the class. Miller’s athleticism and frame immediately pop on film. Despite not being at an ideal frame, his physicality and strength against second-level defenders and edge defenders at the point of attack are impressive. His overall hand usage, while slightly inconsistent, still remains strong. I love Miller's mentality of just trying to bury and embarrass the opponent. That is exactly the kind of player that Dan Campbell will want on the right side of Jared Goff. Miller does have some weaknesses in his game. While his length is very solid, I do think he should add some pounds to better sustain blocks and wash interior defenders out. Miller’s hand placement can be pretty rough at times, as his hands end up outside the chest way too often. He also had what felt like a million false starts in the games I watched. He will need to get that under control at the next level, as some of them even came at home, which is unacceptable. Miller can also catch defenders, which drives him back a considerable distance. I also think that he was late to pick up stunts and got confused by overload blitzes. Miller was selected 17th overall by the Detroit Lions. Blake Miller will be the starter at RT come week one, and I think he will succeed early in his career and only get better as the years go on. I think that the Lions have developed offensive linemen well, and he will do wonders for Jahmyr Gibbs this season. On top of all that, Miller has an incredibly clean injury history. Overall, I really like Blake Miller, and I think that he will have a successful career (I still don’t understand what the Dolphins were thinking selecting Kadyn Proctor).
