•Stands tall in the pocket and gets through his progressions well
•Keeps eyes downfield when faced with pressure

•Amazing second-level and third-level eye manipulation ability
•Gets through progressions well
•Does a really good job getting his eyes downfield and manipulating everyone to go back before dumping it off
•Rarely stays staring down a first read
•Strong ability to throw with anticipation
Cons:
•Anticipation throws on hitch routes and timing routes could improve
•Can be a bit too indecisive at times
•Would like to see his progressions get a little bit faster
•Moments where he just panics and throws the ball blindly somewhere resulting in turnovers
•Decision-making is detrimental at times
•Lacks that next-play mentality that other QBs possess
Accuracy & Ball Placement
Pros:
•Deep ball accuracy is average to slightly above average
•Immediate to short accuracy is above average
•Remains accurate on rollouts and throwing off platform
•Does a solid job throwing receivers into open space on deep balls
•Allows his receivers to run under the ball and make a play on the ball on deep routes
•Can make those layered mid-level throws
Cons:
•Ball placement in the intermediate and short range could be better
•Deep ball placement and out-breaking routes the ball placement is pretty bad
•Accuracy is just very inconsistent and it stems back to his arm strength
Improvisation / Play Extension
Pros:
•Can throw from different arm slots
•Only 1 fumble on the season is good
•Smart scrambler when an opportunity presents itself in the pocket
•Protects himself on his scrambles
Cons:
•Below average scrambler
•Didn’t see him have to make plays outside the pocket a lot because his O-Line was so good
•Will not break any tackles in the pocket at the next level
•Not very great improvising and being a playmaker outside of the pocket
Arm Talent (Strength + Angles)
Pros:
•Has an elite ability to put a ton of touch on the ball
•Arm strength is average
Cons:
•Needs to rip it more often
•Probably lost a little zip after the UCL injury
•Underthrows seem more common than they should be
•Most of his throws were designed screens and short pitches which makes it hard to actually gauge his arm ability
•Corners jump his throws easily because of the lack of zip
•Seems like he really has to put his whole body into throws if he wants to get zip
Athleticism / Mobility / Frame
Pros:
•Has the ideal QB frame
Cons:
•Will not be a threat whatsoever in the designed runs aside from keeping the defense honest every now and then
•Below-average athleticism
•Won’t make anyone miss in space
•Speed and cutting ability is definitely not gonna wow you by any means
•Below average straight line speed and well below average sideline to sideline speed
Mechanics / Footwork
Pros:
•Stands tall and remains calm in the pocket
•Dropback footwork is clean and smooth
•Quick release
•Pocket footwork remains clean with pressure and in clean pockets
•Throwing mechanics are very solid
•Has very solid pulls and play-action fakes
•Pocket presence and awareness are solid
Cons:
•Can get a tiny bit of happy feet at times if nothing is originally open
•Throwing from his heels when pressure is in his face and a hit is coming
•Throws from his heels too much in general
Poise / Leadership / Toughness
Pros:
•Has a ton of experience against high-level teams
•Has 3 years of college experience as the starting QB
•Makes checks and adjustments at the line of scrimmage
•Did his job to lead his team in the playoffs
•Has taken some shots over the years
Cons:
•Had a season-ending UCL injury in 2024
•23 years old
•I feel he gets rattled easily
•If things are going wrong, they really snowball quickly which has been a problem his whole career
•Think there might be hidden ego/personality issues there
