Game IQ / Processing
Pros:

Agility / Twitch
Pros:

Cons:

Versatility
Pros:

Cons:

•Week 1 vs MRSH, Week 5 vs UK, Week 6 vs AUB, Week 7 vs MISS, Week 9 vs MSST
Ideal Situation:
•Dillon Bell has been a contributor for Georgia in all 4 of his seasons with the Bulldogs. Bell has natural route-running and receiving ability. Bell sinks his hips well, tempos his releases, decent twitch, and hand activation throughout his route. Bell was used a ton on reverses and end-arounds last season. He has good juking and tackle slipping ability. Bell’s testing also shows how explosive he can be with his 39” vertical and 10.06 broad jump. His 40 time was very much average at 4.50. For his size, Bell also has crazy ball skills. He finishes catches through contact, is impressive on jump balls, adjusts to the ball, and attacks it in the air. Bell works back to the ball in the scramble drill and correctly breaks off his routes at the appropriate distance, depending on the situation. He also displays decent twitch and some elusiveness in space. Bell also in the past had a lot of special teams experience. Bell was motioned around a lot. I do think he could play in the slot and outside at the next level. His run blocking is also very solid. He blocked downfield for his teammates, breaking away with the ball, and was used as a lead blocker, consistently showing effort. Bell has some weaknesses in his game. That being said, his attention to detail when it comes to his route running. He drifts on his breaks, rounds his cuts, and consistently struggles to halt his momentum during his routes. Bell also never showed an elite YAC ability or breakaway speed. All that considered, he is a very balanced receiver. He also had a very minor ankle sprain in the fall of 2024. Dillon Bell was surprisingly left undrafted on April 25th before being signed by the Minnesota Vikings. Currently, he projects as the WR, WR5, or WR6. I personally think he will be the WR4 or WR5 by the time the season rolls around. He simply offers too much versatility and is pretty decent at everything to be left off the active roster.
