Ideal Situation
•Eli Stowers explosive tight end prospect with a very high receiving ceiling. His hands are near elite, and he has an excellent catch radius to match. He has big-play ability with explosive YAC potential and can track the ball well deep down the field. He excels on short routes that give him room to work with after the catch. He can struggle when physicality is brought to him and doesn’t use physicality to win. He can also let off the gas mid-play and give low effort at times. That low effort is most recognizable in the run game, where he also struggles the most. He doesn’t bring physicality, especially against bigger lbs and d-linemen. He can be caught reaching, but if he gets his hands on a smaller DB, he will drive them back a few yards. My ideal fit would’ve been with a team that could utilize him, splitting reps as the starting TE, so he could show his receiving and route-running talent without having to carry the full blocking load of a starting TE. Thinking the Dolphins or Eagles. Learning behind Kelce on the Chiefs would also be a great fit for him.
