Ideal Situation
β’Justin Joly is a pass-catching tight end who has produced consistently at both UCONN and NC State. His receiving ability is his biggest selling point, as he can win man-on-man reps against DBs with both physicality and finesse, outrun linebackers, and find soft spots in zone coverage. His hands are like oven mitts, and he consistently brings in contested catches. His blocking is his biggest downside as he lacks size and strength to down block and pull without double teams, but is a physical blocker on kickouts for split zone runs. My ideal fit would be the Ravens, as a replacement for Isiah Likely, and the ability to work behind Mark Andrews in a system that utilizes tight ends frequently. My second fit would be the Chiefs if they donβt go for Kenyon Sadiq or Eli Stowers. Joly can learn behind Kelce on how to produce in a system that likes receiving tight ends.
