Route Running
Pros:
•Can utilize head fakes
•Sinks his hips decently well for his height
•Gets in DBs' blind spots to create leverage/separation
•Has shown flashes of route tempo and being twitchy out of his breaks
•Shown he can stem his routes and set up his breaks well
•Like his press release footwork, and he has a lot of different releases
Cons:
•Could stack his routes better and not get pushed to the sideline
•Should be more physical throughout the route to get hands off of him
•Can struggle to drop his pad level on breaks at times
•Lacks explosiveness out of his breaks
RAC / YAC Ability
Pros:
•Good vision as a runner
•Does surprisingly have home run speed (showed against Mississippi St)
•Can decently break tackles in space
•Stays moving forward
Cons:
•Doesn’t really have any juking ability
•Not very consistent in being a playmaker after the catch
•Didn’t see him have enough opportunities
Athleticism / Frame
Pros:
•Long receiver
•Massive catch radius at 6’5’’ and 33 ¼” arm length
•Above average hand size at 9 ¼”
•Good frame
•Good vertical threat and has separating speed
Cons:
•31” vert is poor for his size
•9.11 ft broad is meh
•4.60 40 is below average
•Poor agility in the shuttle and 3-cone drill
Ball Skills
Pros:
•Good in jump ball scenarios
•Can finish through contact
•Was reliable on limited targets
•Had pretty reliable hands
Cons:
•Had some passes broken up that I think he should’ve brought down, considering how tall he is
Game IQ / Processing
Pros:
•None
Cons:
•I think he needs to revise his stance
•Not the greatest at making route adjustments
•Doesn’t take advantage of the zone windows that he could’ve exploited
Agility / Twitch

Ideal Situation:
•Noah Thomas is an example of a player who should not have transferred from his original team. I distinctly remember Noah Thomas single-handedly destroying New Mexico at Texas A&M. I thought after that game, he was gonna be a guaranteed draft pick whenever he declared. I would even say that after his Junior season, he would’ve been one. He might not have gone high, but no way a team wouldn't take a chance on him in the later rounds. However, he transferred to Georgia, where he saw his snaps early on significantly reduced and was rolling with the backups when he did get to go in most of the time. Thomas is a highlight-reel player who can Moss you and score an 80-yard breakaway TD in the same game. His blend of size and surprisingly long-distance speed stands out. If you want to see the real Noah Thomas, watch him at Texas A&M, not with Georgia. Eventually, after Colbie Young got injured, he was the next guy up. He looked like his old self at times, scoring 3 TDs in 2 weeks against Mississippi State and the Texas Longhorns. I still think that Thomas could be an NFL-caliber X receiver or at least a WR4, but I don’t know if he will get the opportunity to show it. His run blocking is great, showing small flashes of twitch and burst, reliable hands, redzone threat, a towering 6’5”, and he has also shown a decent amount of times he can be a crafty route runner. The Cincinnati Bengals signed another Georgia Bulldog after drafting Colbie Young in the 4th Round. I really like Noah Thomas as a potential UDFA gem, but definitely not on this team. I actually think that on the Las Vegas Raiders, he would have been a great option because of his jump-ball ability and potential back-shoulder ability, which Fernando Mendoza loved to use at Indiana. He is currently buried on the depth chart. I think he could climb the depth chart, but it is unlikely he will earn a significant snap share behind Colbie Young, Tee Higgins, Ja’Marr Chase, and Andrei Iosivas.
